Job Responsibilities

30% Training and Facilitation-Effectively facilitate training sessions. Actively involve learners in discussions for understanding of key concepts. Provide feedback to Associates to reinforce learning and address areas of improvement. Use a systematic approach to structure training plans. Complete new hire curriculum and ongoing training within specified time requirements.

30% Training Development and Analysis-Plan, create and maintain insurance training content and programs. Develop training outlines for current systems and keep content up to date. Develop scenarios and goals for the trainee to complete within a specific timeframe to put their newly learned skills into action. Develop content that can be used with various instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, webinars, eLearning and workshops for a blended approach. Design teaching aids such as training workbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference materials. Catalogue, organize and maintain training content digitally including participant guides, facilitator guides, instructional games, and presentation slides. Conduct needs analyses and provide to management to determine training requirements for new hires and existing associates. Partner with leadership and Learning & Development team to set up onboarding schedules and individualized training plans for Insurance Department. Collaborate with senior leadership to plan, develop, and deliver system and industry training for new and existing branch managers.

20% Coaching and Mentorship-Exhibit a high level of passion, drive and motivation to enhance the training experience and environment. Lead with the intent to motivate, train and develop. Provide timely, constructive feedback regarding progress of work and performance, make well informed decisions using sound judgement, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy, and execute programs.

20% Technical Knowledge-Keep current on latest insurance technology, industry trends, AAA products and services, AAA sales and operations strategies, and adult learning techniques. Shadow insurance department when necessary to obtain knowledge of processes and assess where new or additional training may be needed. Maintain current knowledge of AAA insurance partners, partner websites, insurance products and other services used in the industry. Provide subject matter expertise on any insurance operations related questions.

Job Specific Requirements

  • This position requires working full time in office to provide proper facilitation and support for new and tenured learners.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office products.
  • Some travel required within the Club territory.
  • Must be able to resolve problems and work under pressure to diffuse member concerns.
  • Ability to multitask in various areas of insurance sales and service.

Experience

Required
  • 3 - 5 years: Proven insurance experience.
Preferred
  • Teaching/training/leadership experience.
  • Insurance Management System experience.

Education

Required
  • Associates or better in Business Administration or related field
