Hotel & Positiion Summary The Aloft Fort Worth downtown boasts 180 rooms with nearly 4500 square feet of meeting space. This person will be responsible specifically for booking corporate transient and group while strategically aligning with hotel goals along the way. Essential Responsibilities * Meets with and maintains rapport with individuals and contacts in order to produce groups and/or convention business, to include Room Sales, F & B Sales and Catering/Banquet. * Schedules conventions and business group activities at the hotel. * Maintains liaison with other hotel - level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients * Maintains good rapport with area Chamber of Commerce, and other local civic groups and companies. * Ensures sales activities meet or surpass profit plan. * Develops and maintains client files. * Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies. * All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor. * Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed SMERF revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication. * Produce revenue through directly soliciting business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales. * Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients. Experience Required * Minimum of 3 years experience in a hotel environment * At least 5 year in a sales role * Great customer service and follow up skills * A bachelors degree is desired Job Type: Full-time Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
