Cashiers are extremely important to our business. Applicant must be friendly and outgoing to interact with customers and willing to learn about our wide variety of merchandise. The ability to accurately ring up merchandise, accept payment, and make change is a must. Applicants must also be able to answer the phone and greet customers in a friendly manner. This is a full time hourly position that is eligible to earn monthly commissions. Pay is based upon experience Requirements: Operate cash register Take payment and make change Answer a multi-line phone system Assist customers in locating merchandise Clean front end of store and help setup displays when necessary Work Saturdays and some Sundays Job Type: Full-time Job Location: * 4718 Kingston Pike 37919 * 9629 Kingston Pike 37922 Required education: * High school or equivalent Required experience: * Cashier: 1 year Benefits: * Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Dental Insurance are available to all full time employees. Employees also accrue sick pay each week that can be used if the employee is too sick to come to work. * Mayo's pays for vacation time based upon hours worked and length of employment. * Mayo's also pays employees for all holidays that Mayo's closes for. * Matching 401K retirement plan * Very few Sundays are required (Mayo's is closed on Sundays except for April, May and December) and no evenings. * Applicants will have a set schedule from week to week with their day off being the same each week.
