As we expand our reach into new retail channels, we're looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial Retail Account Manager to join our high-energy team at our Torrance, CA headquarters. Position Overview: The Retail Account Manager (National & Regional Accounts) will lead the charge in managing and expanding Chemical Guys' presence across existing trade partners while actively developing new business across diverse classes of trade, including Grocery, Convenience Stores, Hardware, Automotive, and beyond. This role is ideal for a self-starter with 3-5 years of relevant experience, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to drive strategic growth across both national and regional retail partners. You'll manage everything from HQ relationships and promotional strategy to retail execution and new account development--all while being part of a passionate team that celebrates success and supports your growth. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and grow a portfolio of national and regional accounts including ACE Hardware, Meijer, Best Buy, AAFES, and more. * Actively identify and develop new retail opportunities in expanding classes of trade (Grocery, C-Stores, Hardware, etc.). * Build and execute customer-specific business plans focused on AMPPS (Assortment, Merchandising, Pricing, Promotion, and Shelving). * Launch and manage new products, seasonal programs, and promotional initiatives that drive sales and brand visibility. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Demand Planning, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution. * Monitor and uphold brand standards including MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) enforcement and retail presentation compliance. * Navigate and manage customer portals (e.g., Retail Link, AutoZone Vendor Net) to support planning and performance tracking. * Prepare and deliver business updates, performance reviews, and strategic presentations for internal and external stakeholders. What You 'll Bring to the Role: * Initiative & Passion: A natural self-starter with a growth mindset and drive to succeed. * Strategic Hustle: Balances long-term account planning with day-to-day execution and tactical problem-solving. * Retail Fluency: Experience working within or alongside key retail channels--bonus points for Grocery, C-Store, or Hardware knowledge. * Communication Skills: Clear, confident communicator who can build relationships and influence decisions. * Analytical Thinking: Able to extract insights from data and translate them into meaningful action. * Team Energy: Works well in a collaborative, fast-moving, high-performance culture. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. * 3-5 years of experience in CPG sales, retail account management, or business development. * Demonstrated success managing existing customers while opening and scaling new accounts. * Experience working with national and regional retailers; knowledge of Grocery, C-Store, and Hardware retail a strong plus. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with customer systems like Retail Link is preferred. * Familiarity with trade promotion management systems and syndicated retail data (e.g., Circana) is a plus. * Background in the automotive, car care, or CPG industries preferred. After, Tues - Thurs in office, based on performance Salary Range: $80-100k/yearly with a target bonus annually based on performance.
