Full description of the position

The Granite Group has an exciting opportunity for a Counter Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including greeting customers and handling their requests promptly. You will be entering orders into the computer, picking and packing the order, and seeing it through to the customer getting their order accurately. Knowledge of plumbing, heating, and hvac is a requirement, so you can understand what the customers are asking for. Solid computer skills are also a requirement, as you will be on the computer for a big part of the day. Other duties will be answering the phone, stocking shelves, transferring material between branches and vendors, and maintaining a clean neat work area.
