Responsibilities

• Assist Account Executive in day to day responsibilities and their Team's To Do list
• Creation of menus, understanding pricing, staffing, knowledge of inventory, design proposals and floorplans
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and provide consistent customer service and support
• Act as a point of contact for clients throughout planning process and during the event as directed by Account Executive
• Respond quickly and efficiently to client questions and concerns via email and phone; forecast potential client questions, issues and conflicts and proactively troubleshoot
• Follow sales processes and protocols to ensure consistency as demonstrated in sales manual
• Prepare Account Executive with prep materials for walkthroughs & events
• Administrative/other tasks (calendar, organizing team folders, updating to do lists, boards deadlines, platters)
• Communicate with external vendors leading up to and throughout the event
• Communicate with internal departments, onsite staff & venue managers
• Proactively engage with guests to ensure a positive experience
• Attend weekly Tuesday scheduling/sales meetings
• Represent the company in community and industry organizations/events

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in the hospitality/events industry, catering preferred
• A bachelors degree, preferred in hotel or business administration
• Ability to speak, communicate and read effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Capable of working in fast paced environment and possess high level attention to detail
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
• Knowledge of Caterxpert and Social tables is preferred
• Flexible schedule with weekends and nights available
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and outgoing
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced team environment, competently handling demanding deadlines
• Must demonstrate proficient knowledge and use of computer and basic programs (e.g., Microsoft Office & Google Suite)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
