Industrial Regional Sales Manager - Northeast United States
PortaFab is a manufacturer of modular building systems which offers endless applications from in-plant offices to cleanrooms throughout all industry. Experience in the Industrial Sales would be beneficial.
As a company that believes that collaborative innovation is a key to success, PortaFab gives our Regional Sales Managers the opportunity to work with the full support of our Chesterfield, MO corporate team, to work with established distribution channels, as well as expose OEM’s, A & E firms, general contractors and end users to our product line.
This is a full-time salary and commission position that offers excellent compensation and benefits. The territory consists of NH, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, and Eastern PA. Ideal candidates would live in the Hartford, CT Area. Overnight Travel is required (40%-60%).
Purpose: Grow Sales by developing and supporting existing and new customers in a multistate territory.
Role/Responsibilities: Manage the territory to increase sales in compliance with agreed upon sales and marketing strategies developed in concert with management while completing goals and objectives within an established time frame.
· Visit customers and prospects throughout entire on a consistent basis.
· Provide assistance to our distributers and end-users through ongoing training and joint sales calls.
· Evaluate current and future distribution needs by market and recommend goals and objectives.
· Identify, qualify and set up new distribution as necessary by researching the internet, industry associations and installation companies.
· Qualify sales leads promptly and determine the next step in the sales process.
· Conduct lunch and learns to Architects as directed.
· Continually monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
· Prepare required reports on time such as Expense, Estimates Not Yet Ordered, Sales Leads Assignment, Lost Estimates, Itineraries, Potential Large Orders and Sales Forecast.
· Continuous self-improvement through training from PortaFab and outside resources.
· Represent PortaFab utilizing professional and ethical sales methods.
· Partner with customer service to optimize quality of service and customer satisfaction.
· Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of outside sales experience
- Bachelors Degree Preferred (Construction Management/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Engineering Technology)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal, written communications and analytical skills required.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
