Job Summary: As an Account Manager at The Computer Company, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients. You will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. By providing top-notch customer service and identifying opportunities for growth, you will contribute to the company's success and maintain long-lasting partnerships with our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned clients, maintaining regular communication to understand their business objectives and IT requirements.
- Build and nurture strong, positive relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our services to existing clients, driving revenue growth for the company.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely and effective delivery of services and solutions that meet clients' expectations.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly to maintain a high level of client retention.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to provide clients with insights and recommendations for their IT strategy.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on account status, including key performance indicators, to management and clients.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to expand business opportunities and address contractual matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar role within the IT industry or Managed Service Providers.
- Strong understanding of IT services, solutions, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Demonstrated ability to identify business opportunities and effectively negotiate contracts.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results and exceeding targets.
- Experience with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365 platform is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
