Kelly Benefits in Sparks, MD is seeking a service focused individual to work professionally, diligently and effectively to provide comprehensive service to all current and prospective Kelly Benefits Brokers. To work with current and prospective brokers to promote and implement the sale of ancillary plans to their current and prospective clients through Kelly Benefits. To maintain, develop and enhance ancillary business relationships and increased sales through the Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA) Broker distribution chain. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work directly with, Carriers, Kelly Benefits internal contacts and Brokers to manage the case installation process for new and renewing ancillary business. Duties include preparing case submissions for implementation at both the carrier level and Kelly Benefits level for billing and administration. Processing case submissions includes extensive review of sold proposals & contracts, understanding specific group and member level benefits and data, and obtaining all required underwriting documents to ensure group is compliant to sold policy guidelines for 30+ distinct carriers
  • Handle daily updates to our internal tracking database for their assigned cases
  • Research Broker’s ancillary related service and implementation issues and provide adequate solutions by coordinating solutions across Kelly Benefits divisions and carriers
  • Work closely with VP to identify and recommend IT solutions to enhance ancillary administration
  • Educate brokers on new sold plans and paperwork requirements as benefit questions arise surrounding the case implementation process
  • Manage and coordinate the ancillary census enrollment between divisions. Process census enrollment as needed to ensure cases are installed/renewed correctly and timely. Must have the knowledge and confidence to work autonomously through this process
  • Work closely with the VP of Small Group & Individual Market, KBA and Vendor Operations to implement improvements to ancillary administration
  • Assist in Development of Broker communications, marketing information
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate group level materials and forms are correctly displaying on The KTBSonline Resource Center

Minimum hours are Monday through Friday 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required to achieve business objectives.
Requirements

  • Relevant college degree preferred or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 4+ years insurance industry experience
  • Health/Life license preferred
