An Account Manager is a full time Insurance agent specializing in sales and service. Ideally, qualified candidates will have prior customer service experience in the insurance industry and have a current insurance license (however, this is not required). Candidates should be goal oriented, able to multi-task, a positive attitude and thrive in a fast paced environment. Effective candidates must be detail oriented and have strong computer skills to perform job duties efficiently. Typical duties and responsibilities include: new business sales, service of customer inquiries via phone, email, fax or face to face; communicate and interact with insurance company underwriters; communicate technical information effectively (oral and written) advise clients and calculate monetary transactions. As an Account Manager you will be given a set book of business to grow, service and develop. Your role will be supported by processing and administration. Ideal candidates will be self motivated, outgoing and quick learners.
