Full description of the position

Fit & Fresh, Inc. is a fast-growing consumer product company located in Providence Rhode Island. As a member of the Operations team, the Compliance Specialist will work cross-functionally within the organization and externally with multiple retail partner’s website portals, to investigate compliance/shortage charges. The initial focus will be gathering necessary documentation to dispute charges within the required time frame as designated by each retail partner. With the end goal of tracking and reporting into the team on the progress made on each charge.

This is a newly developed position that has great opportunity for growth for the right candidate, who thrives on mitigating the ever-changing world of retail & ecommerce customers, and their related Compliance Policy enforcement efforts.

· Proactively research customer portals on a weekly basis to document any compliance/shortage charges in a dedicated excel file.

· Determine if compliance/shortage charges meet minimum dollar value to dispute.

· Work cross-functionally with team members to gather necessary documentation to submit formal disputes per each customer’s required process.

· Follow up on disputes submitted per established time frames with each customer.

· Maintain bi-weekly meeting agenda to provide focus for the team on the efforts noted above.

· Report in on the progress/status for each dispute during the team’s bi-weekly update meeting.

· Additional responsibilities will be added to support the operations/finance/warehouse teams as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

· 2-4 years of retail compliance coordination

· Experience with Walmart, Target, Amazon, Staples, Meijer and other top USA retail accounts is desirable

· Moderate to Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables/vlookups, etc.)

· Experienced user with an ERP system

· Prior relevant experience in the consumer product retail distribution industry

· Effective written & communication skills

· Must be detail oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities

· Able to thrive independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapt to unpredictable changes, produce high quality work and project a positive outlook
