AFFORDABLE QUALITY INSURANCE is an insurance agency located in Pasadena, TX 77502 and has been established since 2008.

We are looking for a bilingual experienced insurance agent to generate new business. You will sell, solicit, differentiate and negotiate insurance plans that match the needs of your assigned or prospective customers’ portfolio. The goal is to build up strong positive relationships, to ensure growth attainment and increase our firm’s reputation. The agent would be willing to work every other Saturday our Office hours are Mon-Fri 9-6:00pm Sat 9-3:00pm

Responsibilities

• Develop retention strategies and promote's crossale and suggest additions/changes to existing policies.
• Assist in problem resolution (i.e, refund of cancellation requests, reinstatements, rewrites, service complaints)
• Service policyholders as required, including endorsement processing and requesting information required by the insurance company.
• Issue certificates of insurance, insurance identification cards, SR22 filings as requested by insureds or other entities.
• Maintain bookkeeping systems, database and records
• Update policy/Customer information through the Agency Management System and/or carrier on-line system.
• Achieve monthly retetion goals.
• Constantly update job knowledge and learn about new products and services
• Fulfill all policy requirements

Skills

• 3 years of Insurance experience with a superior customer service attitude.
• Have computer experience and good organization skills
• Must have an active Insurance License
• Must be dependable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced business enviroment.
• Familiar with all types of insurance products (auto,homeowners, commercial, general liability, flood)
• Must communicate effectively, dress properly, be punctual and meet deadlines.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Contract type:

• Permanent

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Auto Insurance: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Insurance Producer License (Required)
