Job Summary:
The primary role of the Inside Sales Representative is to communicate effectively with customers, understand their needs, and ensure a smooth sales process. An Inside Sales Representative will answer any customer inquiries and send follow-up information as needed. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will keep up with product and service information as well as any relevant updates. The Inside Sales Representative will primarily deal with either walk-in customers or source sales via email and follow-up leads. An Inside Sales Representative should be able to build instant rapport and build customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers & service technicians by troubleshooting, quoting, ordering, and providing equipment.
- Assists outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
- Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required equipment, suggesting companion requirements, offering specials, and ensuring that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Professional and friendly customer service to all customers, suppliers, delivery drivers, etc.
- Handle customer complaints tactfully, promptly, with genuine concern, and deals directly with customer complaints stemming from equipment issues.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Notifies the customer when specially ordered equipment has been received.
- Will create and track all activity thru JobBoss software.
- Follows up on back-ordered equipment.
- Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
- Issues credit for equipment returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
