Full description of the position

Key Account Manager (Puerto Rico)

International Technology Leader - Latin American Division is looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationship’s of the company with one of its most important clients and expand growth with carrier accounts in Puerto Rico and/or relevant territories.

The ideal candidate will be apt in building strong relationships with the customer identifying the needs and requirements to promote company products and achieve mutual satisfaction.

Main responsibilities

  • Working in close liaison with the key client for strategic planning aiming constant improvement in client results
  • Negotiating contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance
  • Communicating with the client to ensure that their needs are understood and addressed
  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between the key client and the company as well as with indirect channels capitalizing on the Company brand in our region
  • Collaborating closely with internal departments such as Marketing, SCM and Logistics
  • Resolving complaints and keeping track of all processes that pertain to the client’s requests
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders
  • Monitoring OEM Market share, both in house and in country while targeting sell in to achieve desired results
  • Forecasting and follow up sell through & sell out progress periodically (weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually)
  • Monitoring and updating the internal system making sure the demand is reflected on timely manner following company guidelines
  • Processing accurately and efficiently incoming purchase orders for the assigned client
  • Reviewing and verifying purchase order information to ensure the received order complies to the internal system and process requirement until order completion
  • Creating and tracking of sales orders as well as effectively allocating orders by RTF (Return-To-Forecast)
  • Keeping track and maintaining every record related to the client including purchase orders, sales orders, e-mails, etc.
  • Other assignments as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • In-depth understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field; Master's degree preferred
  • Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter
  • Intermediate computer skills and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
  • Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
  • Travel to Puerto Rico and/or Central America as frequent as required
  • Approximately 20% travel required
  • Visa sponsorship is not available at the moment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
