As a full-service provider of temporary fencing throughout California and Nevada, we provide an array of products and services to meet the needs of the Construction, Events, and Emergency Response industries.
Our rental fence products include free-standing fence panels, post-driven chainlink fence, crowd control barricades, privacy windscreen, gates, orange tree protection, sandbags, and silt fence installation.
Rentafence.com is looking for a Director of Sales to join our growing team! The Director of Sales will develop, direct, administer, coordinate, and oversee the design, enhancement, implementation, reporting, and oversight of the Company’s internal sales operational activities and compliance in accordance with policies, goals, and objectives established by senior management. The Director of Sales will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all of the Company’s sales goals, systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. The Director of Sales will also play a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage a team of Territory Sales Managers and Inside Sales Representatives and ensure that all incoming calls and inquiries for estimates and quotes are responded to in a professional and expedient manner
- Manage sales through SalesForce and QuickBooks platforms
- Assist with managing marketing strategy to help drive brand exposure and increase revenue
- Make ongoing outgoing calls to potential leads and take a key role in building our book of business
- Develop new customers and follow up
- Achieve sales goals by identifying need, analyzing the market, and initiating a sales plan
- Expertly manage the needs of customers
- Ensure customer and vendor file integrity (documents, communication notations, etc.)
- Maintain accuracy of records including the proper posting of customer payments, A/R, A/P, inventory, etc.
- Assist with maintaining the office environment, supplies, equipment & IT systems. Maintain inventory of supplies.
- Help build company image by positively collaborating with customers, community, and employees
- Responsible for employee development and conducting periodic performance reviews
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by management
- Oversee a team of employees with eventual oversight of multiple properties, which includes operations, financial, and people management responsibilities.
- Upgrade, implement and maintain an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures. Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically.
- Collaborate with managers to improve administrative procedures, operational services and develop performance standards.
- Participates in the development and preparation of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives.
- Ensure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
- Communicates, enforces, and executes all marketing plans, promotions, and policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all team members are looking for ways to systematize the business to increase efficiency
