Position Objective:
With a thorough understanding of all product benefits and services LS Systems can offer to customers, strong negotiating skills, and exceptional customer service, the Contract Sales Representative will cultivate and build long term key customer relationships, primarily by providing new service contract agreements. This role collaborates with the team to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue in alignment with LS Systems' long-term strategic goals to increase Recurring Monthly Revenue by managing and growing relationships within the service sales department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Building:
Identify and call upon prospective customers and establish service cycles, customer needs, and create a customer-supplier relationship
Manage an ongoing positive customer relationships.
Develop an effective and positive relationship with Service Sales Team
Work effectively and cooperatively with coworkers in other departments
Mentor and coach Sales Support Representatives
Generate Revenue:
Sell LS Systems' service offerings
Identify new opportunities for recurring monthly revenue to increase LS Systems' growth.
Increase sales in respective accounts by cross-selling
Prepare sales quote information for customers
Sales Operations:
Communicate effectively with Service Department and/or Construction Department to facilitate logistics on awarded scopes of work
Perform site surveys in order to develop equipment and labor estimates for quoting
Assist accounting with delinquent accounts (as needed)
Assist in providing solutions to customer service issues related to assigned accounts.
Maintain accurate and ongoing records of sales opportunities and account contacts
The successful candidate will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Must be independent and self-motivated with a solid history of decision making, taking accountability, demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles to success. Must be capable of taking on a task with minimal instruction and exceeding expectations with strong follow up skills and attention to detail. Must be flexible and adaptable to a fast paced environment and changing priorities.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma
1 year of experience in sales in like industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and Google (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Current NICET Certifications or ability to obtain certificates in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems and Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems
Salesforce Lightning CRM
Functional understanding of test & inspection code requirements and procedures.
Functional knowledge of fire alarm, sprinkler, security, and nurse call systems.
An ability to prioritize and manage expectations
Detail oriented and thorough
Professional and Ethical conduct at all times
Critical and analytical problem solving
An ability to work independently
Team Player
The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with other people within the company as well as customers
Great customer service skills
Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
Must have a positive attitude, ability to learn quickly, and able to work under pressure

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This a largely sedentary role which requires the ability to manage the sedentary nature of office work, however, will require visits to job sites requiring the ability to walk, stoop, stand, walk on uneven surfaces, walk steps, use ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs and function in extreme temperatures representative of field job sites
