JOB DESCRIPTION

Talos Business Development Manager

Talos is a revolutionary Lightning/Storm Front Detector that utilizes the same technology that is used in expensive weather stations but packaged in a low-cost consumer/OEM product.

The ideal candidate is an analytical sales driven team player who will be responsible for hunting and closing new business themselves, while also leading a team of individuals who own the entire product lifecycle from setting sales strategy to booking the order. You will also work cross-functionally to complete product roadmaps that open up new markets and opportunities.

This position will be responsible for the promotion and sales of the Talos Lightning Detector in a range of markets that includes Marine, Swimming Pool, Construction, Commercial Mowers, and the Golf Cart industries.  The individual will be focused on hunting large OEMs directly and also strategically managing a small sales team to increase sales, find new markets/applications and avoid overlapping of sales resources.

The individual will work on industry-specific PowerPoint/Zoom presentations, marketing materials, web presence and visit OEMs as required. Must be able to find and close large accounts and coach the sales team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Consulting
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
  • Professional Technical or Safety Product Sales experience
  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Driven personality
  • Results oriented.
  • Attend/organize/work trade shows.
