Job Overview

At iCIMS, we are helping our clients to build their winning workforce.  Our team has a key role in helping customers unlock their full potential in their efforts to attract, engage, hire, and advance top talent.  We’re looking for a regionally based, experienced sales professional to join our team to help achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within a regionally assigned market segment. As an Account Executive in the Enterpsie Growth segment, you’ll proactively establish, develop and maintain effective business relationships with prospective customers, to generate new business for iCIMS’ product suite. Equipped with your knowledge of the iCIMS Talent Cloud, customer success stories, and a strong book of business, you’ll have the support you need to achieve growth quotas. An ideal candidate is an effective communicator with great interpersonal skills.  You can articulate thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively across a wide audience, including senior leadership and C-suite.  You have an intermediate knowledge of the sales practices, principles, and techniques.  You are a tested sales professional with a track record in soliciting and closing B2B sales against a set quota.  You are strategic and consistent in your sales approach, you can effectively establish a plan of action,  problem-solve, and identify obstacles.  You can clearly present material, communicate value, and overcome objections.  You embrace a challenge, and are able to work effectively within a fast-paced, changing, high-growth environment.  You have Results Orientation with a focus on closing long-term sales cycles.  You are a self-starter, can work independently and on a team in a primarily remote environment.  Most importantly, you are passionate about helping customers solve business challenges.


In this role, you will call on accounts in the Eastern region of the United States.

This is a remote position that may require travel up to 25%.

  • Targets companies within the Enterprise Growth segment (1,000-5,000 EEs)
  • Drives new business within assigned territory.
  • Builds and manages 3X pipeline/reporting and monthly sales forecasting.
  • Builds sales funnels through individual prospecting efforts including but not limited to client referrals, regional networking, webinars and cold calling.
  • Sells a full suite of iCIMS portfolio solutions dependent on customer’s maturity and specific needs based on thorough discovery and existing technology landscape.
  • Presents and positions iCIMS’ products/services to prospective customers via remote or on-site visits. Represents the iCIMS organization with professionalism and integrity.
  • Works internally to align appropriate team sell-approach with Client Partners, Solutions Advisors, Legal, InfoSec, Profesional Services, and C suite.
  • Follows well-defined sales methodology to ensure prospects are a good fit for iCIMS’ long term.
  • Effectively manages complex deal cycles from end to end with the ability to interact with multiple departments and levels within a client organization, up to and including senior leadership and C-suite.
  • Consistently ensures that business is conducted with integrity at all times and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ core competencies, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and takes initiative when appropriate.


  • 3+ years of direct sales in Saas and prospecting experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).


  • Experience with Salesforce, Clari, SalesLoft and Gong
  • Experience with 360-degree selling methodology
  • Experience in HCM / Software-as-a-Service/ Technology industry

Compensation and Benefits

The target total compensation for this role is $132,000 - $176,000

Your estimated compensation will be based upon your experience. iCIMS offers the following benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), an open vacation policy, sick days, short-term disability, long-term disability, maternity/bonding and parental leave, tuition reimbursement, flexible savings accounts, paid holidays, life and AD&D insurance.
