Now Hiring - Sales Manager in Nyc, NY

The role provides an opportunity to join a team that heads up top notch events with a solid history and to work directly with senior level clients who provide solutions to the life science industry. It involves strategic consulting with clients on helping them find solutions for their clients. It will involve selling Sponsorships and Exhibits for Pharma/Biotech conferences (live and virtual), webinars, podcasts and digital newsletter ads. Applicants must have a background in sales, enjoy strategy and research and working to help clients. Previous media/conference sales experience is a plus, but not required. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.

This role has flexibility depending on the amount of experience and skill set a candidate brings to the role, meaning it can be more junior or very senior.

This role reports directly to the Executive Director of Business Development and works both independently and with team members. There is travel to some conferences and trade shows. On-going training and support is provided.

Requirements: Must have a completed 4-year college degree. Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus but not required. Candidates who can commute partly or occasionally to our New York office is preferable, but qualified candidates who can not do this will still be seriously considered.

Location: The office is located in midtown Manhattan, one block from Bryant Park and close to Times Square. It is within walking distance to both Times Square, Penn Station and Grand Central Station.

Remote work: The role is also open to fully remote or partly remote work.
