About the Job

The Sales Operations Representative is responsible for ongoing engagement and support of existing customer base.

Open opportunities include:

Mid/South Region consisting of Dallas, TX/LA and AR

West consisting of CO, UT, ID and Southern CA

Southwest consisting of Southern CA, NM, AZ, West TX

Pacific Northwest consisting of MT, WA, OR, Northern CA, AK

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Field service/ repairs - providing field service or repairing defective products based on requests from direct customers
  • Daily field call reporting - DAILY conveying customer related developments to other sales employees and leadership team through ZOHO sales call reports
  • Sales blitz execution - participating in a well-defined and organized sales blitz support product conversions
  • Territory mapping - ongoing maintenance and management of territory maps
  • Customer sales training - training customer's sales teams
  • Door shop training - training customer doors shop about our existing or future products
  • Credit requests submittal - submitting credit requests for defective/ missing material
  • Dealer calls - making dealer calls as a part of product demand build up? organized sales blitz? market/ product research initiative
  • Builder Calls - calling on builders and visiting jobsites as a part of product demand build up? sales blitz? product/ market research
  • New product development support - supporting new product development projects by participating in shop trials, field trials, product demonstrations and feedback gathering
  • Quote creating
  • Key customer major event participation
  • Prospecting
  • Cold calling
  • External communication and cross departmental communication
  • Quantitative analysis
  • Development/and selection of management tools
  • Conflict resolution skills with customers


  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business and Marketing majors preferred
  • Three to ten years in a sales representative role; within industry preferred.
  • Requires strong management, intrapersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional understanding and technical knowledge of products and customers
  • Quickly identify problems, come up with collaborative solutions and action plan
  • Legal driver’s license with the ability to travel via vehicle or plane from city to city or state to state

  • Expert level product knowledge
  • Customer focus addressing ongoing needs related to product management (including credit write ups, quality, etc.)
  • Training customers' sales team, shop
  • Support sales blitzes and new product development trials
  • Leading product conversions with low/medium level of complexity
  • Ability to gain trust and develop business relationships based on direct or indirect value delivered to the customer
  • Grasp nuances and be creative within a predetermined frame work of company rules and policies, and influence others and productively motivate teams of peers or employees in other departments/ groups
  • Willingness to roll up the sleeves and get the work done while maintaining positive attitude ("nothing is below me and I will gladly get it done if that's what it takes to win" type of attitude)
