We are looking for a passionate Sales Associate who can manage their own book of business, build and manage an end-to-end sales pipeline and all supportive activities while working closely with Segmint’s Sales & Marketing and Product teams.

Position Summary

This position requires working closely with all areas of our business including sales, client success, and marketing. In this role reporting to the VP Business Development, you will serve as the subject matter expert including:

  • Lead in Sugar CRM data Sales entry: Lead in Sugar CRM data entry working closely with Sales & Marketing to pre-qualify and execute on identifying opportunities to accelerate and compress the sales cycle.
  • Lead in pre qualifying sales leads (nurturing process): Working closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing to  accelerate the sales and marketing nurturing process to compress the sales cycle.  The Sales Associate will work with Sales and Marketing to analyze business metrics collected at the financial and project levels to verify objectives are progressing as planned, and to direct additional actions to be taken when problems occur.
  • Conference pre and post lead on schedules/follow-up action items
  • Education of Resellers: Product, Sales Tool Kit deployment
  • Contract / SOW Fulfillment

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2-5  years of Sales, in a SaaS sales environment.
  • A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in sales / marketing or a similar qualification.
  • Ability to explain/educate and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities.
  • Ability to understand dynamic markets, make recommendations that generate results, and work collaboratively across functions, including marketing, sales, product, and operations to align execution to market
  • Proficient in CRM solutions (data entry, sales nurturing process)
  • Successful in crafting compelling positioning sales pitches to move leads into and progress efficiently through the sales funnel.
  • Proficient in IT industry terminology and jargon.
  • Ability to evaluate client feedback and provide pre/post sales service.
  • Impeccable ethical and effective handling of sensitive, confidential and proprietary information.
  • Track record balancing
