About the Role:

The Sales Specialist role is at the heart of the Tero revenue engine. In a fast-paced environment, it is second nature for you to juggle the demands of a big territory made up of many potential clients. You know what it takes to drive a number and maximize your income: planning, activity, quarterbacking an implementation team, and getting into the field to close the deal. You must have a valid BC Driver’s License and valid Canadian or US passport.

About the Job:

  • Current Covid-19 conditions allow for a hybrid work environment – work from home and office
  • Ability to travel across Canada and USA without restriction. Travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Achieve annual sales targets
  • Develop and execute a business plan, build a well-qualified pipeline, and yields reliable forecasts
  • Drive sales through and aggressive/smart prospecting campaigns to greenfield accounts
  • Work with Marketing to develop promotions and campaigns
  • Quarterback a cross-functional team (i.e., Implementation and programing) to maximize individual sales opportunities and Tero’s competitiveness
  • Develop good product and industry knowledge
  • Speak on behalf of Tero at industry events and attend tradeshows where necessary

About You:

  • Ideally 2-3 years in software solutions sales
  • Experience working with established sales methodologies
  • Experience selling cloud and/or SaaS-based solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent solution selling, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology can improve business processes
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Innovative, fearless self-starter, enjoys thinking of new ways to get the job done
  • Goal-focused, process-centric, and detail-oriented
