Job Overview: A Regional Sales Director (RSD) identifies sales opportunities, creates interest, develops options, creates proposals, and closes deals. Within CHP, they have the primary responsibility for generating new business. To be successful in this role, the RSD will nurture relationships (with benefits advisors and their wellness consultants, channel partners, and prospects), handle objections, create urgency, open and close the sales cycle, and create a sales pipeline that exceeds quota expectations.

Job Duties:

• Achieve personal quarterly sales objectives
• Qualify all leads generated through marketing, benefits advisors, and channel partners
• Source new leads through cold calling and online research
• Email and call the leads and set up meetings
• Educate leads/contacts regarding CHP’s unique value proposition
• Provide feedback to Marketing regarding campaigns
• Consistently log appropriate data in CRM
• Report weekly progress and metrics

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications and at least 4 years of experience in a sales role in employee benefits
• Outgoing, positive, friendly, and eager to present CHP solutions
• Demonstrated history in exceeding performance goals and quotas.
• Ability to work alongside executive team and communicate effectively with them
• Experience selling services with a focus on value-based selling methodologies
• Strong communications and understanding of how to identify customer needs
• Adept in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications
• Internet and research savvy using online resources such as LinkedIn and miEdge to identify contacts within target companies
• Willingness to accept and contribute new ideas, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Requires flexibility, attention to detail and moving quickly when the opportunity requires it.
• Knowledge of employee benefits and wellness programs and their benefits is required
• Passionate about personal health and well-being
• Results oriented, with ability and desire to close deals
• Understand business value, motivation and purchasing processes
• Excellent understanding of B2B prospecting and sales best practices
• Proven ability to find creative solutions to overcome challenges
• Has a strong sense of pace and urgency to ensure work is completed within the expected timelines
