JOB DESCRIPTION

Intermex (International Money Express) is a leading provider (with the objective of being the undisputed leader) of money transfer services from the U.S. to Latin America has an incredible opportunity for a select individual to join its Sales Team managing the San Francisco Area.  Candidate will preferably be  based out of San Francisco (or surrounding area). 

 

We are searching for a highly driven, results oriented, energetic sales professional to help us realize our industry leading potential. Our Candidate will bring Business to Business Sales Experience with exceptional negotiation skills, clear communication, and excellent time management skills, in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Increase incremental sales while maintaining current existing business
  • Provide unmatched solutions to retailers by selling industry leading suite of products and services 
  • 25-50% of time will be focused on building incremental sales by zip code – including prospecting and adding new business in underserved zip codes
  • Create and follow weekly sales routes/plans to maximize district efficiencies – calling on a minimum of 50 retailers per week
  • Improve current Agent relationships through exceeding expectations with regard to regular sales calls, quarterly business reviews and always presenting solutions
  • Meet or exceed leading key performance indicators such as sales call activity
  • Meet or exceed lagging key performance indicators such as wire sales targets, agent activation targets and gross margin sales targets
  • Promptly record sales call learnings, action items and next steps into CRM
  • Work with internal departments to leverage cross-selling opportunities and to maximize sales opportunity
  • Spend 90% of the time selling in person (face to face) to local businesses

Qualifications

  • Possess time management and follow-through skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Be Passionate, Competitive – Have Strong Work Ethic and High Integrity
  • Multicultural Experience is highly recommended for success – specifically Mexico and Guatemala
  • Bilingual Skills required: English and Spanish
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • 2 + years of proven B2B sales experience
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
