Are you seeking an exciting sales career opportunity with an innovative, established and highly successful company? Our client is looking for a charismatic, energetic, and self-motivated outside senior sales professional to join their team in San Jose, CA. 

If you want to be part of a dynamic coatings company who is a leading provider of parylene coating and related specialty-engineering services, then look no further.  With 25 plus years of industry experience, there is an opening for an experienced sales rep with 10 years of experience in the direct sales of materials or electronic systems. This person will have knowledge of conformal coatings. 

The ideal candidate will manage business development for our coatings accounts using a combination of technical expertise and relationship selling skills. Familiarity with plasma technologies, application of conformal coatings, potting/encapsulation and epoxy compounds is a plus. Ideally, he/she is someone that has worked in both high volume and smaller volume operations and environments. Experience selling to Tier 1 or 2 type customers is also a plus.
Supported by a dynamic team of peers, as well as a talented operations, marketing, technical and sales team, you will be positioned for success and be able to serve current and future customers well.

o    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business required.
o    10+ years of direct work experience in an external sales capacity.
o    Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas. 
o    Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control.
o    Account development and time management skills.
o    Strong knowledge in Contract Manufacturing.
o    Aerospace, medical, technology, industrial or automotive experience required.  
o    Manage qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers.
o    Keen problem identification and objection resolution skills.
o    Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
o    Exceptional verbal communication and listening skills, with effective presentation skills.
o    Professional written communication skills.
o    Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
o    Able to read engineering drawings and calculate cost and pricing for bids.
o    Ability to work individually and as part of a team and is willing to go out on the factory floor to work with Operations when necessary. 
o    High level of integrity and work ethic. 
o    Sound knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
o    Must be competent in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
