Position

The STEAMGARD Business Development Manager leads the sales process. You will utilize your business development skills and experience, coupled with your technical/engineering/sales background, to recognize customer needs and to develop high value sales opportunities. Your responsibilities will include defining sales strategies and tactics, identifying appropriate business opportunities for specific accounts, negotiating project contracts and assuring effective project completion. Positions available nationwide.

Requirements

To be considered for this important position, you must have:

  • At least five years of results-producing business development experience in the industrial, institutional or government markets (a focus on steam system operations or related fields is highly desirable)
  • Successful experience selling to senior management
  • A track record of business development in professional services and/or proprietary products, such as energy savings, maintenance programs, controls or boiler chemicals and valves
  • The ability to pass a security clearance and background check
  • Outstanding professional references
  • College Education
