Account Executive at Offensive Security, New Jersey

As OffSec looks to continue our growth in 2019 and into 2020, we are expanding our Sales Team! You will be developing bookings by following up on inbound sales leads, up-selling existing customers, and developing new opportunities.  We are fast-paced sales environment, working high velocity sales opportunities.  Our products are HIGHLY DIFFERENTIATED, there is nothing like them in the market.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Call and email executives of all levels and security professionals to find and develop sales opportunities for Offensive Security training and certification products
  • You must be capable of working in a high velocity sales cycle
  • Proactively prospect within existing installed base as well as manage inbound sales opportunities
  • Rapidly learn about internet security, penetration testing, and cyber security training and certification
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, bookings goals on a monthly basis
  • Work closely and collaboratively with VP Sales to help create and refine our foundational sales process
  • Understand a prospect’s needs and challenges to effectively communicate how Offensive Security will address those needs or help solve those challenges
  • Use Salesforce.com for lead, account, and opportunity management
  • Maintain an accurate monthly sales forecast
  • Bring your strategies, learnings, and ideas to advance Offensive Security's values, unique culture, and vision for the future

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience selling to a technical audience (experience in the technology or internet security market a plus)
  • Demonstrable experience over-performing in a fast-paced, high-velocity sales environment
  • Ability to manage a strong sales process 
  • Adept at understanding and articulating new technologies, and mapping the respective value propositions to customer needs
  • Four-year degree from a top university is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of over-achievement in past experiences
  • Strong work ethic
