SafetyFirst has also developed proven solutions for traffic safety and continues to assist thousands of organizations with driver safety awareness and compliance. SafetyFirst has been in the safety industry for over 18 years and continues to offer the best suite of products and programs the industry has to offer. These include a robust Learning Management System (LMS), an MVR platform for easy ordering, instant returns, and custom scoring (Driver Scorecards), an online Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance program; and a complete Telematics solution reselling GEOTAB devices. SafetyFirst shows clients how to use technology of today to increase safety, productivity and fleet optimization while maintaining necessary rules, regulations and compliance.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Salesperson will be responsible for the direct sales of all company products. Reporting to the CEO of the company, the candidate must have a strong self-motivated personality. In addition, they need to be goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team. This position is paramount to our growth efforts and the overall compensation package includes a lucrative commission structure. The Salesperson will be working on cold calls, warm leads and cross-selling.  SafetyFirst does have a large base of active clientele for cross-selling, but cold calls and new relationships are required.

 

The Salesperson for this role should have the ability to forecast sales activity and create achievable goal targets developed in conjunction with the executive leadership.  After successfully implementing a sales program and establishing themselves as a key member of the company, the Salesperson will be provided with the opportunity to create a team reporting to them.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

·         Lead sales efforts to support strategic sales objectives.

·         Manages customer relationships ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

·         Manages and supports new customer implementations, as required.

·         Average travel requirements are 50-60%.

·         Own, manage, and drive the full sales cycles from first contact through contract negotiation/close.

 

Background/Requirements:

·         5-7 or more years’ experience in solutions sales.

·         Experience with Fleet Safety and/or working with Insurance companies a major plus.

·         Track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue goals.

·         Proven experience managing a full sales cycle from prospect, demo, contract negotiation and through close of initial deals.

·         Strong written and verbal communications skills.

·         Ability and awareness to utilize proper communication skills based on the audience, which may include C-level executives, business owners, operations managers, etc.

·         Technology savvy, including online tools (Go to Meeting or like), MS Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com and Excel.

 

COMPENSATION:

·         Base Salary $50-55K

·         Ramp up $1,500 for two quarters

·         Commission structure – To be discussed
