JOB DESCRIPTION

M & H Sales, Inc. seeks a Sales Representative to cover our North New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania territory due to growth and expanding customer demand. This newly added position will be responsible for both account management and business development in an established territory. We have an ever-growing presence in our market area supplying numerous plumbing and heating products to wholesale distributors throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.

As a new Sales Representative, you’ll have the luxury of maintaining established clients as you learn the territory. This is an entry level to mid-level position depending on your experience in sales or the industry.  Those with limited sales experience (less than 3 years) are invited to apply because this position could be for someone that wishes to grow into the job and develop a long-term career.

To the qualified Sales Representative, we offer:

  • Total potential compensation of $50,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
  • Full salary support in the first year with increasing earnings potential from commissions

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Representative:

  • Contact existing customers and assist in ongoing sales/service
  • Develop territory by prospecting for new clients within your market
  • Meet with engineers, contractors and wholesalers for business development discussions
  • Weekly meetings with ownership to discuss business strategies, tactics and territory progress
  • Continuous follow-up with prospects and clients to service and generate sales

Requirements for the Sales Representative:

  • 2+ years of sales experience, limited sales experience are invited to apply
  • Industry experience is beneficial but not required
  • Must be personally approachable and have great people skills
  • Will have demonstrated business acumen and ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work independently is integral to this role
  • Self-driven to succeed, positive attitude with demonstrated sales experience, or with a strong desire for a sales career
  • Be able to articulate detailed knowledge of our value proposition and product offerings
  • Be organized and willing to track your sales activity and progress against goals
  • Prior experience in plumbing, heating, or other industrial markets is a plus
