JOB DESCRIPTION

Everyday Hermell Products improves the lives of individuals by providing comfortable and stylish soft products from bandages to specialty pillows. We are a soft goods manufacturer who is currently seeking an Account Executive for a great opportunity in Bloomfield, CT. The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in sales, within the Consumer Packaged Goods market and must be familiar with the e-Commerce, Mail Order and Distribution markets.

Responsibilities of the Account Executive

  • Aggressively pursue new business within a pre-determined territory, sales channel and/or customer group.

  • Research and contact new customers within predefined sales parameters.

  • Regularly maintain contact with assigned customers to build relationships and develop sales opportunities.

  • Maintain awareness of the status of Production capacity and capabilities to ensure the coordination of commitments to customers.

  • Identify new product opportunities to present to the sales team; represents the voice of the customer.

  • Negotiate pricing and payment terms to maximize profits and sales volume.

  • Analyze historical data and provide input to sales forecasts.

  • Assist in the execution of the annual sales and marketing plan.

  • Monitor book of business and reports on sales performance.

  • Monitor and ensure a high level of customer service; offers and carries out ideas to improve the customer experience.

    Requirements of the Account Executive

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • Must have 3+ years of experience in sales, within the Consumer Packaged Goods market

  • Must have be familiar selling into the e-Commerce, Mail Order and Distribution markets

  • Must have intermediate computer skills and experience with CRM systems

  • Team player who values results

  • Possess excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be a closer, not afraid to ask for the business

  • Must be well versed in consultative selling and have excellent negotiation skills

  • Must have the ability to effectively handle customer inquiries as they arise

  • Must be able to travel as required within the Continental US

This position pays a base salary plus commission. Benefits include health and life insurance, paid vacation and sick time.
