Unlike a lot of coatings that are on the market the MR Multi-Ply Roof System is a full liquid applied membrane system with a material and labor warranty for 20 years.

Our Territory Sales Representative's are expected to fill a pipeline with potential sales, closing the sales as well as account management for previous customers to ensure satisfaction. The typical Sales Rep will be traveling throughout the week in their assigned territory with either scheduled appointments or prospecting for new clients when in a targeted area. We have a variety of lead support systems set in place to make sure our rep is getting in front of as many clients as possible. With a streamlined team supported sales process that assists with lead generation, generating quotes, project management and collections off your plate you can focus on advancing the sale.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Travel across an assigned region that may cover multiple states
  • Initiate, develop and maintain B2B client relationships
  • Follow up with existing accounts, open proposals as well as continued generation of new prospective clients
  • Stay abreast of competitive roofing solutions. Learn and have an understanding of pricing, advantages and disadvantages of common commercial roofing solutions, including metal replacement, urethane, EPDM, TPO, and elastomeric coatings.
  • Must be comfortable walking roofs to do an inspection of the requested areas to be quoted by the client

Position Requirements:

  • Preferably have a four-year college degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful outside sales experience
  • Previous construction or industrial manufacturing sales experience is preferred
  • Have experience working with CRM applications or the ability to learn (eg. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Sugar, SalesLogix, NetSuite, Act!, Goldmine, etc.) to track and drive sales activity.
  • A solid understanding of the commercial / industrial roofing industry
  • Ability to overcome objections to advance the sale and not just take orders
  • Must have a determined drive to sell and the ability to problem-solve
  • Strong organizational skills while being self motivated
  • Able to travel daily in the assigned territory as required
