JOB DESCRIPTION

ACHC is currently looking for an energetic self-starter to develop strong customer relationships using a compassionate selling approach to increase awareness about the value of ACHC’s various programs and services. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for sourcing and managing new relevant business opportunities for ACHC within the healthcare industry, generating interest through outbound cold calls/emails and inbound lead follow-up.  The ideal candidate must be comfortable making dozens of these calls to prospective customers each day and should also possess B2B sales experience, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a positive attitude.          

Responsibilities include:

  • Source new sales opportunities daily through outbound cold calls and emails; as many as 30-50 calls per day to generate interest, qualify prospects, and close sales.
  • Make warm communication into existing ACHC leads to identify the level of interest in our programs and services.
  • Establish and build customer relationships by understanding their needs and requirements and aligning those with ACHC offerings.
  • Play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives by meeting and exceeding monthly Sales goals.
  • Address all questions/concerns of prospects and guide them through the entire Accreditation decision-making process, from initiation of contact through contract signing.
  • Conduct independent research to obtain competitive, comparative, and other relevant data/information in support of business initiatives, reporting out on those findings and making recommendations as needed.
  • Maintain routinely and effectively all appropriate prospect/customer-related information in our CRM.  
  • Attend an occasional trade show or conference.
  • Participate in other projects and activities as requested involving sales and business development that provide opportunity for Accreditation.
  • Comply with ACHC’s Quality Management System (QMS), established policies and procedures, and achievement of the quality objectives (Balanced Score Card).

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum two-year Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in a business related field with 3 years of relevant work experience in a business setting, or a high school education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a business setting.
  • 2+ years of outbound inside sales experience required.
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong but pleasant phone presence and comfort with making 50+ calls per day.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with familiarity in the use of CRM databases.
  • Strong customer relationship management, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written.)
  • Skillful negotiation and organizational abilities, along with attention to detail.
  • Excellent listening skills and a passion for extraordinary customer service.
