For more information, visit [please apply online] Main Purpose of Job: The Business Development Representatives primary job responsibilities are to generate net new business within our West Coastterritory and to grow specifically targeted accounts. The BDR is responsible for formulating a sales strategy and managing the sales process for new business growth as well as retention and growth of designated current clients and will be responsible for entire life cycle of the sales process from prospecting, closing new revenue opportunities and account management responsibilities for closed business. This position is responsible for growing this segment for CompuMark and is a new sales position. The role is responsible for understanding the customers business needs in detail and aligning their needs with appropriate CompuMark Solutions to meet and exceed sales quota on a consistent basis. Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling, email campaigns and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking at relevant IP industry events Qualify prospects from marketing campaigns and other outreach to identify opportunity Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each. Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects around value of CompuMark Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers Develop and maintain territory plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis Accurately forecast territory sales BS degree or 4 year degree required, preferably with concentration on business Proven track record of sales and business development capability; developing accounts through proactive prospecting and an understanding of workflow and content needs; consistent achievement of targets in a complex sales environment Assimilates new information readily and is able to apply this knowledge within a customer organization Ability to consult with and advise customers in order to identify their needs and apply knowledge to understand customer workflows and what is important to their institution Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multi-stage process pipeline Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment Must have strong presentation, communication, negotiation and time management skills. Specifically proficient with webex or similar conferencing application Ability to travel as needed While the role is virtual, this position mustbe based in a West Coast location accessible to a major airport.
