Digital Marketing Sales Rep

JONES, a digital marketing company, is looking for a full-time, Social Media Savvy, Sales Professional. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record selling marketing, advertising and social media programs into small and mid-sized businesses. 

Sales reps work in a virtual call center environment, handling a high volume of outbound sales calls, selling a subscription-based service priced starting at $300 per month.

Sales representatives who meet the minimum sales quotas, can expect to earn $60-62k per year.  High performing sales reps who consistently exceed quota can expect to earn upwards of $80,0000 per year.

This is not an appointment setting position.  Candidates must have experience with consultative sales, taking a sale from cold call to close.  Additionally, candidates must be able to share proven metrics, averaging 100+ calls per day, setting a minimum of 2 appointments per day, and closing a minimum of 6 deals per month. During the hiring process, candidates will be expected to share personal sales metrics, including conversion rates.

Candidates must be self-motivated and possess a strong verbal ability to clearly explain our product and service offerings to small businesses. Candidates must possess the desire to have a lot of phone conversations, work with prospects to customize service packages, and close deals.


Job Requirements

As our Digital Marketing Sales Rep, your goal is reach small and medium sized businesses. You will call 100+ businesses per day, getting them excited about our product and service offerings, performing presentations online and ultimately closing deals. We are looking for someone who:

Required Experience & Skills:

We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achiever who flourishes in an autonomous, results-driven environment. Also required:

  • 4+ years of experience in a consultative sales role
  • 2+ years in a multi-step sales process – from cold call to close
  • Comfortable on the phone, telesales
  • Experience closing deals
  • A desire to make outbound calls to potential customers
  • Experience managing a pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Experience with a CRM solution preferred
  • High energy, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, self-motivate and work autonomously to achieve goals
  • Proven time management skills
  • Must have a home office (or ability to set up a space in the home to work)
  • Must have a high-speed internet connection
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
