Overview:
We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team! Primary functions will include: Increasing profitable sales in a defined geographical area by servicing/developing customers, with emphasis on major and target accounts. Researching and providing solutions to customer problems and issues. Being able to define and educate potential customers on company functions and capabilities. Monitoring and reporting industry trends to company management.

Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
Establish new accounts through a wide variety of sales efforts. Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and potential sales opportunities
Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
Develop a market plan for territory with quantifiable goals and objectives supported by action plans and bench marks for measuring progress
Liaise between the Company (Inside Sales) and customers for up-to-date pricing, customer service, and new products
Manage and grow relationships with customers new and existing
Utilize sales management tools (ERP, CRM, etc.) to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency
Investigate and resolve customer issues in an effective and timely manner
Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity and tact, to portray the Company in a positive manner
Prepare and submit activity/results reports to management
Qualifications:
Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably in a Service Center environment
Steel product knowledge, general business acumen, and demonstrated customer service aptitude
Familiarity with CRM platforms
Proven ability to build rapport with clients
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to meet deadlines as well as being very detail-oriented
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
