We are currently seeking the right candidate for a National Sales Manager position Located on the East Coast to increase sales and points of distribution of our product portfolio in the Mass Merchandise, Value and Club Channels. The ideal candidate will have successfully called on one or all of the Salty Snack Category Desk of the major Club, Mass Merchandise and / or Value retailers in North America, including: Wal-Mart, Target, Sam's Club, BJ's Wholesale, Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Family Dollar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing shareholder value with financial and category growth
  • Collaboration among the internal and external customer
  • Account Management at the Headquarter and regional level to achieve sales goals
  • Be the category expert with strong analytical skills proactively engaged in category expansion through the execution of shopper marketing initiatives and innovation
  • Work with our distributor partners to ensure product placement on all authorized accounts and adequate inventory levels of all authorized products
  • Prospect and establish new retail, wholesale and corporate accounts in all classes of trade
  • Ensure the successful execution of promotional activity at retail level by communicating and coordinating promotional programs with our retailers and distributors
  • Constantly visit the market to identify opportunities for growth and improvement of our product sales and retail execution
  • Work closely as a team with all sales and administrative associates
  • Travel within the United States, primarily the East Coast.

Qualifications:

  • Honesty and Integrity
  • Excellent communication and customer retention skills
  • BBA/BS degree required
  • Able to execute and follow through on sales initiatives and plans
  • Hands-on individual, self-starter, driven and willing to work hard to achieve goals
  • Previous experience in the Mass Merchandise, Club and Value Channels managing Salty Snack or Beverage Sales 
  • Minimum 3-5 years industry experience.
