OVERVIEW The Account Executive IT Sales (AE) position is a critical and extremely demanding consultative selling position that requires the individual to determine the needs of their clients and then how best to apply the Companys IT products, services and personnel to those needs while ensuring best value for the Client. The Account Executive will be working from our Hauppauge, NY office andwill be responsible for accounts in NY region. The Account Executive role is an aggressive sales and business development position. Candidates must have prior demonstrated success and experience with selling to government agencies, healthcare and corporate accounts. The right individual must possess self-motivation, drive, desire and personal discipline to overwhelmingly exceed sales goals and achieve unlimited earnings. The AE is expected to meet and exceed established goals in further developing accounts as well as execute sales strategies for penetrating accounts, qualifying new opportunities and winning new business. The AE will be expected to manage the sales cycle (lead generation, prospecting, qualifying, proposing, closing and initiating services) and document all sales activity in CRM. QUALIFICATIONS A successful individual will need to have a strong consultative sales background with a broad range of knowledge in the K-12, healthcare and commercial markets in the New York area. A successful candidate will have over 3 years of selling experience (technology solutions) in the market and within the detailed geography.
