Sales Development Associates (SDAs) research customer targets, create outreach strategies, and develop sales opportunities. They conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers and use business acumen to identify how Neoteryx could help their business thrive and successfully position the Neoteryx value proposition.

SDAs that demonstrate high performance and commitment will have the opportunity for career development and advancement within sales.

To be successful as a SDA, one should have an inquisitive temperament and an out-of-the-box thinking mentality.  The ability to quickly articulate the needs of the business both verbally and in writing will benefit this individual. 



  • Conduct high volume prospecting (> 25 activities per day) to identify high potential customer targets through calls, emails, and social media
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Account Executives (i.e. Microsampling Specialists) and the Customer Acquisition and Intelligence Manager to develop and implement appropriate outreach strategies
  • Schedule assessments and discovery meetings for Account Executives to further assess customer target potential and build the relationship
  • Direct lead qualification activities of Sales Coordinators
  • Learn how a variety of businesses operate, what challenges they face daily, and how microsampling can dramatically improve their businesses



  • Bachelors degree required (in a science-related field a plus)
  • 1-2 years previous sales experience
  • Sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed quotas and/or objectives a plus
  • Track record of high achievement
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Naturally curious and passionate
  • The technical aptitude to master our product
  • A keenly developed competitive nature
  • "One-speed" energy with a highly self-driven sense of motivation
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Experience with CRM software preferred, especially Salesforce and/or HubSpot
  • Articulate with excellent communication skills and writing abilities, able to interact effectively with employees, consultants, clients and the public
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to respond with urgency to requests in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Outlook
