As the first Sales Manager at the Company, your mission will be to curate and create a winning sales machine.  The challenge is immense, and the responsibilities are vast: architect a strategy that integrates new technology/CRM into old processes at scale, create a sales process, suggest target markets and act as CargoTrans’ lead brand ambassador. 
 
As Sales Manager, you will not be alone and work directly with the CEO. However, you will be the mastermind that lays the groundwork for how this part of the organization scales.  You're a builder by nature, have a burning desire to create something much larger than yourself and are willing to get your hands dirty and work tirelessly to do so.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Define, implement and continuously improve the sales process
  • Manage a team of sales professionals across the US
  • Cultivate and source new clients as well as identify and develop relevant resources for sales and business
  • Research and build relationships with potential and new clients
  • Initiate business development training and mentoring to pertinent staff members
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

Requirements for the Sales Manager:

  • Must have 5+ years of sales experience and the ability to oversee a sales team
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven track record in creating and/or leading a sales team
  • High energy and entrepreneurial spirit to build an all-star team
  • Results-oriented team player willing to work in a demanding dynamic environment
  • Experience with CRM use and implementation
  • Must be personally approachable and have great people skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse and inclusive group of individuals in the US, Europe and Asia
  • 25% travel through US and Internationally
