Sales Traveler

Nichols Tillage Tools, Inc.               Farm cultivator parts.           Agricultural Repair Parts.

Sales and promotion of ground engaging repair edges of various shapes and sizes to an established customer network over a large regional area.  Visit different parts counters daily. Make friends with repeat customers.

DISTRICT SALES

Candidate makes regular and repeated sales calls at our dealers’ stores throughout an assigned sales territory to sell Nichols products.  Candidate builds a continuing relationship with those dealers, and maintains those customers’ good relations with our firm.  Extends knowledge of our products to new personnel at those dealerships.  Attends machinery exhibitions and dealer open houses and manages displays at those shows.  Introduces and promotes new products and variations of our regular products; and scouts new product to make or sell. Establishes and maintains effective relations with customers.  Candidate must be able to travel over comparatively long distances, repeatedly.  Candidate sets his goals for sales in his territory with a seasonal sales plan that will be communicated to his supervising Operations Manager.  Season on season growth is expected.

A background of and experience with agricultural machinery or spares best qualifies the candidate.  The candidate will be helped by experience with sales of franchise brands and their parts. An opportunity to meet new and old customer friends in the farm equipment industry.
