SEEPEX Inc., located in Enon, OH, is a global, industry leader in the design and manufacture of pumping equipment. We are seeking  dynamic, results oriented outside sales people to join our team of dedicated professionals to manage sales territories throughout North America.  Openings are located in California, Kansas/Missouri, Texas, and Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities include:

The main responsibilities will include establishing a network of direct accounts and managing industrial distributors and municipal representatives, while sustaining our aggressive sales growth rates. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements, calculating client quotations, negotiating contract terms, resolving customer problems, offering after-sales support services, and working closely with internal departments, suppliers, and other external technical experts.
  • Maintain distribution channels by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, encouraging, and managing distributors.
  • Visit existing and prospective customer manufacturing locations as needed to provide technical support, problem resolution, identify opportunities for business expansion and maintain relationships with key personnel at multiple levels in management, engineering, production, maintenance, etc.
  • Manage and achieve financial objectives by staying within assigned budget while meeting order and shipment targets.
  • Attend trade shows and sales trainings.

We Require:

A four-year degree in the field of engineering or business is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success selling in the fluid handling/process industries using consultative sales methods.  Candidates must possess a minimum of two years successful sales background, strong mechanical and technical skills, demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills, as well as a good understanding of the application and markets within the process industries. Previous experience selling industrial pumps, rotating equipment, controls, and repair services is beneficial.  Familiarity with the territory’s geographic sales area and the customers within that area is preferred. Skills in time management, scheduling, customer reporting, and distributor/representative management is critical to success.
