Inside Sales Rep - Datacenter Co-location Services - OH - 27027189

Our client's data center offerings provide the flexibility, reliability, and security that enterprise customers require and are delivered through a tailored, customer service-focused platform designed to foster long-term relationships. Their platform provides robust connectivity options to drive revenue, reduce expenses, and improve service quality for enterprises, content, and telecommunications companies. Position Overview:

The Inside Sales Rep is responsible for handling both inbound lead activity conduct outbound cold calling to generate new direct and indirect/third-party sales leads and opportunities for our external sales teams. This position will also be responsible for scheduling briefings and meetings with prospects.

If you perform and have the ambition, you'll be groomed for a Business Development Manager role at the company within (2) years and be earning a solid 6-figure income. This is a great opportunity to break into Software & Services sales!

 

Essential Functions:

  • Qualify generated contacts with follow up phone calls and  emails to create qualified leads;  
  • Make outbound calls to set sales appointments with prospects  with the goal of solving their problems;  
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest  and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity  
  • Disseminate opportunities to appropriate Sales rep,  educating rep as necessary about the opportunity
  • Generate leads through cold calling and prospecting targeted  database to generate appointments and leads;  
  • Enter all information into Salesforce CRM system and  tracking status of follow-up efforts
  • Communicate with prospects via telephone, email, and  chat;  
  • Remain current and up to date on all new products and  initiatives and completing all required training;
  • Research competitor activities and sharing findings within  the organization;  
  • Manage Live Chat activities;  
  • Understand and be able to articulate the client's value  proposition and targeted message;  
  • Build strong, professional relationships with sales  executives and consistently communicate with them regarding strategic  objectives;  
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity goals to ensure  company revenue objectives are met;  
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest  and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity;  

 
Minimum Requirements:

  • Prior cold-calling experience in Sales Development or Inside  Sales with a demonstrable success in identifying new prospective customers and  building a pipeline is required.  
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening  ability with an engaging personality  
  • Strong verbal and written skills with proven track record  achieving measurable goals in an automated sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data is critical.  
  • Strong track record of performance in a previous sales role or in college  
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment  
  • Excellent time management with strong organizational  skills  
  • Solid computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft applications as well as web-based applications  
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus  
  • ‘Hunter’ mentality in seeking out new business

 

Education and Qualifications

  • Diploma (BS/BA) or work experience in a related  field.  
  • 2+ years related Inside Sales experience.  
  • Proven track record of success – meeting Quota, Sales awards, etc.  
  • Related industry experience  within Datacenter, Software, Services, etc. is a plus.

 

Base Salary:  $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 (DOE)

On-Target-Earnings:  $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 - Uncapped + Great Benefits + Opportunity to become a BDM w/in (2) years!
