K-Con, Inc. seeks a Sales Representative to join our thriving organization. We are a rapidly growing general contractor providing turn-key construction and Design/Build services. We do work with a variety of industries but specialize in Government and Military building projects through our GSA certification. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating profitable sales growth by managing key accounts and developing new business relationships. This position reports directly to the President of the company and will have the ability to learn the nuances of our industry and business.
The right candidate will have 3 years of construction sales experience, the drive to generate revenue, and will have a gregarious personality and excellent interpersonal skills. For the right Sales Representative, we offer:

  • Base plus uncapped commission compensation with a first year on-target total compensation of $90,000 - $110,00

Duties and Responsibilities for the Sales Representative:

  • Prospect, research, and build relationships with new clients
  • Maintain existing client base and grow current business by presenting new products
  • Attend industry functions, conferences, and association events to network and maintain an active knowledge of our industry
  • Oversee hand-off of projects to internal team
  • Continually work and develop K-Con’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Forecast sales targets and track activity
  • Additional duties as necessary for sales success

Requirements for the Sales Representative:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales role in construction is required
  • Experience selling to Government or Military clients is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Availability for up to 50% travel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is highly beneficial
  • Savvy with social media as a selling tool, primarily LinkedIn
  • Engaging personality and interpersonal abilities to develop customer relationships
  • Professional demeanor
