Merchant Services Sales Representative – Entry and Mid Level Positions -  Up to $80,000 within first year

 

Benchmark Platinum, a leader in merchant processing, is looking to add more sales professionals to our team!  We offer our merchants the best combination of the latest technological trends and conventional solutions. As an in-house sales team for Benchmark (benchmarkmerchantsolutions.com), you will be able to offer your merchants deals on terminals, POS systems, and rates.

 

We are looking for energetic, driven, and hard-working candidates who are looking to build a strong client base. We are looking for people who are willing to learn and grow within our team, network, and build a future for themselves within our company.  Potential candidates should be comfortable working in a goal oriented environment and a sales-driven company culture.

 

About Us

We are an established company based out of Brooklyn, and are looking to expand our services to merchants throughout the payments space. We provide credit card services to a broad spectrum of merchants nationwide.

 

We will provide the right candidate with extensive training, covering all aspects of credit card processing.  

 

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Can network and communicate with merchants and maintain those relationships

  • Have strong listening and presentation skills

  • Work well in a team and independently

  • Are self-motivated and driven to succeed

  • Comfortable working in a tech-oriented industry

Responsibilities:

  • Master Industry information to be a valuable resource to merchants

  • Draft and submit complete applications

  • Generate sales leads through a variety of methods including cold visits, referrals, and networking

  • Establish and maintain merchant relations.

  • Achieve sales objectives.

 

Compensation:

Compensation based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in selling merchant services, insurance policy, or other non-tangible services
