Sales Manager - DME - FL - 27011359

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to manage a team of eight Sales Representatives in the Florida market who sell medical capital equipment with a price point of $200k as well as the disposables that are used during the cases.  In this role you will manage, train, hire, fire, all of your team as well as having full budget responsibilities.

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager holds responsibility for being a product expert with keen technical skills and expertise in implementing effective training techniques to lead Reps to call on Surgeons and clinical staff in the surgical unit’s and in the operating room.  Your Sales Reps’s expansive technical knowledge will be proven to the account during product demonstrations and evaluations, training in and out of the operating room, repair and modifications of the surgical unit.  Additionally, the Sales Reps will be responsible for securing and increasing revenue in assigned accounts.


  • At least five to ten years of medical technical field/sales experience
  • At least 3+ yrs of dynamic sales management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Must have surgical case driven sales experience (no orthopedics or distributors),
  • Strong preference would be medical capital like endoscopy.
  • Complex products are a plus.
  • A key is personality and leadership skills, dynamic, charismatic lead by example.
  • This company hires impressive backgrounds.
  • Experience working in an operating room

Base Salary:  $110,000.00 (DOE) + $500/mo Car Allowance

On-Target-Earnings:  $250,000.00 - $270,000.00

Territory:  FL

Travel: 40%

Location: South Florida, Miami / Ft. Lauderdale areas.
