1st Source Servall, a leading appliance parts distribution company, is seeking an experienced outside sales representative. 1st Source Servall has over 400 employees with 7 distribution centers and 48 branch locations operating in 13 states.

 

We are seeking a full time Outside Sales Representative, based in Ohio, to manage a substantial account base and continue to develop the territory (Ohio/Western West Virginia/Western Pennsylvania/Northern Kentucky). 

 

In this exciting position, the person will be responsible for maximizing and growing revenue and profits within his/her assigned geography by selling to existing customers and acquiring new business. You will be supported by our 75 years of experience, a proven sales program and strong inventories.

 

We are looking for an individual who has the enthusiasm, aptitude to learn and ability to apply new skills and knowledge, while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction to help continue to grow our business.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·   Overseeing customer accounts, ensuring maximum customer support, evaluating customers’ needs and making recommendations and communicating these needs to management.

·   Creating and executing a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds revenue and profit targets.

·   Identifying and pursuing new customer acquisition opportunities in assigned territory.

·   Building long-term, productive, and mutually beneficial relationships with customers.

·   Regularly available and responsive to customers' needs.

·   Identifying and executing local marketing activities to enhance local presence and grow sales.

 

All candidates must:

·   Have an assertive personality, high energy level and resilient character

·   Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

·   Have a customer service oriented attitude and exhibits high integrity in all business dealings

·   Have strong time-management and organization skills

·   Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

·   Be able to be a road warrior.  Daily travel to include some overnight stays.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·   College degree is preferred.

·   Proven sales background.

·   5+ years of outside sales/business experience is preferred.
