Insurance Solutions, based in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a polished, professional, hard-working, and solutions seeking Employee Benefits Sales Representative to join our team. We will train recent College Grads or we will gladly talk to and look for a win/win with more veteran producers and sales professionals.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to make many contacts to schedule meetings with CEOs, Owners and Human Resource directors at mid-size businesses with 50-500 employees.

Life and Health Insurance license and prior experience is a plus but is not necessary. It is more important that you are a Hunter and Hard worker who is willing to put in the work to make the contacts to build a strong Residual Income. We will help you get your Life and Health license and you must do this quickly.


Someone with excellent Consultative Selling Ability will be able to learn our business, become Life and Health licensed, and you will be able to close sales that will yield generous First Year commissions and Residual commissions. You must hustle, work hard, make many contacts via a hybrid approach including LinkedIn, Networking, Cold and Warm Calling, Referral generation, etc. You must learn our business from our team and President and Owner Brian Goff and thus capitalize on the limitless earning potential we provide.

At Insurance Solutions, your income will grow alongside your book of business -- meaning that a few years of good, solid sales effort will result in tremendous financial gain. Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for ALL aspects of generating new Employee Benefit brokerage/consultation opportunities with clients. We believe in fostering a culture of continued education, and this will be an exciting opportunity to be trained on the nuances of the insurance industry.

Step 1 - You will need to generate cold and warm opportunities and first meetings and this will be the first thing we hold you accountable for when you come to the job. You must be able to prove that you are a true Hunter.

Step 2 is you need to have deep and wide conversations with your target clients to determine needs and to determine why solid benefits give them a boost to the bottom line. You need to dig to optimize their per-employee spend and to get them with the right insurance options.

Step 3 of course. You need to get them to say Yes or No and close. This is true full-cycle selling.

Finally you will help to retain the accounts and maintain contact and the relationship. This is not a business where you "work people", "close them" and then "move on".

To the right Sales Representative, we offer:

Guaranteed Income (Irrevocable Draw) for the first 2 years as you build your book of Residual commission. First year on target earnings of $55,000 - $80,000 with a clear path to $150,000 in 3 years.

Responsibilities and Duties for the Employee Benefit Sales Representative:

Identify and solicit prospects from various sources, both agency-provided and self-generated
Achieve agency and individual goals
Build relationships with clients, upholding agencys reputation with professionalism
Identify customer needs and prescribe appropriate solutions
Solicit referrals from existing agency accounts
Coordinate with our Team for Setup and service of existing accounts
Maintain necessary licenses and continuing education required for license renewal


Requirements for the Employee Benefits Sales Representative:

Proven Sales experience of any kind
College Degree beneficial or completion of some other post-secondary education or military service completion
Personable attitude with the ability to work with a wide variety of clients
Ability to influence others
Self-motivated to increase sales and revenue
