Overview:
Petersons Velocity seeks a customer-focused Sales Manager to own all aspects of the sales process.
The Sales Manager will serve as the official representative of Petersons Velocity (a Petersons brand)
in a defined geographic territory, producing revenue from prospective and existing school clients
using funds from Federal programs. The role requires an understanding of the market needs and product
potential in order to define a crisp sales plan.

This position will cover a territory in the Southeast.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
1.A minimum of five years of experience in direct sales. Experience with parochial or private school administration and management a plus.
2.A strong reputation within the education community a plus.
3.Proven success managing up to 25 opportunities concurrently and moving all to some level of completion.Previous experience as an education administrator and/or director of specialized programs (Title IA, IIA, III).
4.Understanding of Federally funded programs (NCLB, ESEA).
