Overview:
Petersons Velocity seeks a customer-focused Sales Manager to own all aspects of the sales process. The Sales Manager will serve as the official representative of Petersons Velocity (a Petersons brand) in a defined geographic territory, producing revenue from prospective and existing school clients using funds from Federal programs. The role requires an understanding of the Northeast (Texas - Florida) market needs and product potential in order to define a crisp sales plan.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
1.A minimum of five years of experience in direct sales. Experience with parochial or private school administration and management a plus.
2.A strong reputation within the education community a plus.
3.Proven success managing up to 25 opportunities concurrently and moving all to some level of completion.Previous experience as an education administrator and/or director of specialized programs (Title IA, IIA, III).
4.Understanding of Federally funded programs (NCLB, ESEA).
