Ziker Cleaners seeks an energetic and creative Sales Representative to join our team. This position is an excellent opportunity for professional growth with one of the premier dry cleaning companies in the country. You will travel to different neighborhoods and suburbs going door-to-door with the goal of selling the Home Pickup and Delivery Service. You will get training and a company vehicle for business use.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Travel by company vehicle to different neighborhoods and suburbs going door-to-door with the goal of selling and closing an account for the free Home Pickup and Delivery Service.
Represent Ziker Cleaners in a professional manner at all times.
Work an assigned territory, often up to 40-50 houses per day.
Convince customer to purchase service using a script or persuasive technique.
Hand out pamphlets.
Tell customers why service is better than competitors.
Attain the minimum requirement of 10 new route customers every week after 90 day training program.
Write up account for service.
Maintain company vehicle by following required inspection and maintenance schedule.

Qualifications:

Self-motivated
Enjoys talking to people
Enjoys being outside and active
General computer skills
Demonstrate personality characteristics that show a confidence with speaking, conversing, and listening in one on one and in group situations
Demonstrate proficient business writing skills
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Clean driving record as defined by the Indiana BMV and our insurance carrier
At least 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)
Familiar with the surrounding area, good sense of direction, and ability to read maps
Some sales experience preferred but will train the right person
